With more than two decades of leadership experience across enterprise IT, federal operations, and fast-growth SaaS environments, Van Harne brings unmatched depth in modernizing infrastructure, optimizing security posture, and driving support excellence. He is the founder of Next Layer IT Solutions, a Des Moines-based consulting firm that empowers small and mid-sized businesses to adopt enterprise-grade technology strategies—without the enterprise complexity.
Van’s career spans technical architecture, audit and compliance, cloud migration, and award-winning customer support. He spent over a decade leading global support operations and infrastructure for Fastpath (now Delinea), where he spearheaded automation, cloud deployments, and security solutions that earned G2's Best Software Support award three years running. Prior to that, Van supported federal airport operations through TSA, architected complex multi-site deployments, and modernized legacy networks across diverse environments.
Whether building server farms in Azure, implementing Intune and MDM nationwide, or guiding Fortune 500 clients through SOX compliance with Fastpath Assure, Van pairs vision with execution.
